Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $30.50-$45.75 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the care of patients with primary immunodeficiencies, working closely with insurance providers to ensure timely approvals.

  • Manage and complete prior authorization requests for medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with insurance providers and patients to ensure timely approvals
  • Maintain accurate records and track authorization statuses to avoid delays in patient care

You'll also be responsible for coordinating food and drug challenge appointments, including scheduling, education, and follow-up.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • A current RN license in Kansas or Missouri (or multistate license)
  • One year of experience in pediatric nursing (preferably in an immunology setting)
