Job Description

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is a leading provider of construction and operations services to the US Federal government. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Ft Belvoir Humphreys Engineer Center contract.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall direction and management of the contract, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement program assessment protocols to evaluate and improve contract performance.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including managing project profitability and loss control to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Work closely with collective bargaining leadership and members to negotiate collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) with unionized workforces.
  • Provide oversight of contract modifications and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and lead technical personnel to understand customer requirements and successfully initiate and complete projects.
  • Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities to achieve and support contract goals.
  • Ensure contract performance adheres to company and government processes, regulations, and statutes promoting quality control, innovation, and safety adherence.
Requirements
  • TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance, preferred.
  • Ability to obtain an interim secret clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
  • Minimum of five (5) years or more experience as a construction superintendent or project manager for commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance.
  • Working knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel) required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess strong computer skills to complete data entry into work management systems.
  • Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
  • Must be able to perform on-call duties when scheduled and report to work within one hour of notification.
  • Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
