Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and longevity of our satellite components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive reliability test strategies to minimize failures and optimize durability.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure product reliability from design through manufacturing and operational use in space.
  • Build and execute rigorous test protocols, analyze failure data, and improve system resilience to harsh space conditions.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, provide technical guidance, and establish best practices for reliability and test engineering.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in design, testing, and debugging of PCBAs, with a thorough understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
  • Strong expertise in programming languages (Python, C/C++) for data analysis and test automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Thorough understanding of metrology, sources of measurement error, and uncertainty analysis.
  • Experience with environmental testing, such as thermal, vibration, and TVAC.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, testing, or quality assurance, preferably in the aerospace or satellite industry.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, assembling, and testing of electronic components.
  • Experience in analyzing the impact of radiation on electronic components and strategies to mitigate its effects.
