Multifamily Development Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Development Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multifamily development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, project management, and a passion for creating high-quality living spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead all phases of multifamily development projects from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Site Analysis and Feasibility: Conduct market research, site evaluations, and feasibility studies to identify potential development opportunities.
  • Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project designs that align with market trends and company standards.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including pro forma analysis, funding sources, and financial reporting.
  • Permitting and Approvals: Navigate the permitting process, securing necessary approvals and ensuring compliance with zoning and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including investors, local government officials, community organizations, and residents.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication among all parties involved.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards throughout the development process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in multifamily development, project management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multifamily development projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, local zoning laws, and real estate market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
