Clinical Leadership Position

Swope Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Chief Medical Officer to join our senior leadership team. As a critical member of our patient-centered healthcare staff, you will play a key role in shaping the clinical direction of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical guidance and support to our healthcare providers, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards.
- Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in patient care and develop strategies to enhance our clinical programs and services.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care and safety.
- Education and Training: Design and deliver educational programs for our clinical staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality patient care.
- Quality Management: Develop and implement protocols for quality management, ensuring our organization meets the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Medical Audits: Conduct medical audits and reviews to ensure our physicians are adhering to quality standards and utilization criteria.
- Compliance: Ensure our organization complies with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as policies and procedures of contracted third-party payers.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care for a minimum of 60% of your time, as directed by the Chief Health Officer.
- Community Engagement: Support community and public relations functions, promoting Swope Health's mission and values.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree, licensed in the states of Missouri and Kansas.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a medical administrator in a community health center, public health, ambulatory practice, or managed care setting.
