Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team at Centerpoint Vascular and General Surgery. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive hemodynamic evaluations and writing test results. You will also perform vascular ultrasonic procedures as directed by physicians, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment to evaluate vascular health
  • Position patients and select the appropriate transducer to ensure accurate results
  • Take patient history and retrieve previous files to inform diagnosis and treatment
  • Coordinate patient flow and check daily lists to ensure all exams are complete
  • Maintain equipment and order supplies as needed
  • Perform other duties as required to support the diagnostic imaging team
Requirements
  • Minimum one year experience as an ultrasound technologist/sonographer
  • Must hold one or more of the following credentials: Registered Vascular Tech, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in accordance with state regulation and clinical specialty
  • Must have certification through ARDMS or ARRT
