- Implement Preventive Maintenance: Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep a safe and organized work environment, addressing any safety concerns immediately.
- On-Call Availability: Be available for emergency maintenance calls and respond swiftly to urgent situations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report on maintenance supplies and equipment levels.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and schedules.
- Collaboration: Work with other hotel departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize guest disruption.
- External Coordination: Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Vocational training or certification in maintenance is advantageous.
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in maintenance and repairs.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interaction with guests and staff.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional appearance.
