Position Summary:

The Structural Assembly Technician will be responsible for the operation of production machinery and the assembly of fabricated products. This role requires expertise in reading technical drawings and understanding welding symbols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production machinery.
  • Cut, fit, weld, and assemble various fabricated products.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings and welding symbols.
  • Layout and fabricate components such as stairs, rails, beams, and columns.
  • Conduct inspections and document compliance with product specifications.
  • Manage material handling tasks.
  • Availability for overtime work as needed.

Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: 4am-2:30pm, Monday-Thursday
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-1am, Monday-Thursday

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural fitting.
  • At least 5 years of welding experience.
  • Proficiency in complex trigonometry and geometry.
  • A substantial portfolio showcasing past projects involving intricate curving structures, spiral stairs, rails, canopies, and sculptural elements.
  • Familiarity with equipment capacities.
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate with fellow fabricators and laborers.
  • Effective communication skills to relay order statuses to supervisors.
  • Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
