Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Assembly Stock Room/Assembler to monitor and maintain the material in the assembly area stock room. The successful candidate will perform assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies in accordance with company, IPC, and J-standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming inspection as specified by the Quality Manager.
  • Receive material into the MRP system.
  • Pull kits and issue to the assembly floor in a timely manner.
  • Track C of C's upon receipt of material and issue C of C's with material when issuing parts to the assembly floor.
  • Organize, maintain, and audit material in the stock room by performing weekly audits on material as required to streamline the monthly inventory audits.
  • Conduct monthly inventory audits working closely with the Finance Manager.
  • Process scrap notices to provide material to the assembly floor as required.
  • Batch parts for distribution to the assembly floor.
  • Determine floor stock and work with the Assembly Manufacturing Manager to implement a Kanban system as required.
  • Monitor stock levels and re-order consumables as required.
Assembly Operations
  • Assemble parts into repetitive and non-complex units or subassemblies, utilizing hand tools and soldering irons.
  • Will require some use of voltmeters, scales, holding fixtures, bench tools, automated and manual soldering equipment, and special fixtures.
  • Assembly operations are typically performed under a stereo microscope.
  • Follow written/oral instructions from process engineers, manufacturing engineers, and supervisors.
  • May prepare and assemble PC boards, perform component preparation, dispense/apply adhesives, and utilize various tools to perform mechanical assembly.
  • Inspect work to ensure that it meets all requirements.
  • Comply with and support all department and corporate policies and procedures, including but not limited to Safety, Security, and ESD.
  • Inspect product at various stages of the process.
  • Create NCMR (non-conforming material review) and perform root cause analysis as needed.
  • Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform basic and routine repetitive mechanical assembly operations on components and subassemblies using fixtures, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Proficient use and familiarity with hand tools.
  • Ability to run automatic soldering equipment.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing documentation.
  • Requires basic mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow assembly instructions, including visual aids and drawings.
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to use (hold, lift, maneuver, etc.) hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to maneuver tiny objects such as screws, wires, etc.
  • Environmental regulations for proper chemical handling and storage of chemicals.
  • The employee is responsible to follow all RCRA standards as outlined by the certification that he or she has been trained to at all times. The health and safety regulations encompass the cleanliness of the area that he or she will be working as a result.
  • May handle hazardous waste as outlined in departmental work instructions.
Education and Experience
  • High-school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous warehouse or stock room experience. PCB manufacturing/assembly helpful.
Compensation and Benefits

Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $35,054 - $55,409

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC, including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
