About the Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to fill a 13-week assignment in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with patients and make a positive impact on their lives.

The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 per year, based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Benefits include:

Job Description

This Physical Therapist role involves administering treatment to patients as a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for educating patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding Physical Therapy on an ongoing basis.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Physical Therapist will observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment; document and report findings as appropriate. Follows hospital safety rules and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • One to three years' experience as a PT preferred
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
  • Mental Requirements – Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel
  • Sensory – Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate
