Position Overview
We are seeking a Finance Analyst who possesses a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a focus on business outcomes. This role involves overseeing the performance of designated P&L lines and managing Working Capital while aiding in the growth of specific product categories. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design and implementation of financial controls, effectively linking accounting practices with business strategies. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure that financial systems and processes adhere to established corporate policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis and Support: Manage and oversee investments and expenditures in specific P&L lines in collaboration with relevant departments. Assist category managers in assessing projects and potential scenarios.
- Financial Process Execution: Engage in the development of Budgets and Forecasts for the assigned P&L lines. Contribute to the monthly financial consolidation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and long-term financial planning. Actively participate in the management closure, providing critical analysis of data from various departments and offering insights on the areas under your purview.
- Process Definition and Improvement: Aid in the creation and review of KPIs and Dashboards (utilizing SAP, Excel, and Power BI). Help establish reporting guidelines, instructions, and content in alignment with Corporate Finance. Prepare and present operational financial information to the leadership team.
- Adhere to Essity's control standards and other relevant policies, including MICR and legal regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Finance or Business, including leadership exposure.
- Solid understanding of financial principles (P&L, Cash Flow, Working Capital).
- Experience in supporting commercial organizations, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong financial acumen and accounting knowledge.
- Experience working within complex matrix organizations and diverse cultures.
- High proficiency in IT (Financial consolidation systems, BW, SAP preferred, MS Office).
- Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
