Job Summary

The Multimodality Imaging Specialist performs a variety of imaging procedures on patients in a clinical setting, utilizing multiple modalities to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and standards.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures, ensuring optimal results.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
  • Report issues and maintain medical imaging records, adhering to department policies and standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance and control programs to ensure quality exams and equipment maintenance.
Position Details

This position requires floating between hospital and outpatient locations within a region to fill scheduling gaps due to time off, FMLA, staffing shortages, or other coverage needs deemed relevant by radiology leadership.

Coverage requirements may include days, evening, nights, weekends, holidays, or any combination.

Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
  • Certification as a Certified Radiology Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
