We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at GFL USA. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment and trucks
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
- 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
