We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Float Pool team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in various units, including Med Surg, IP Rehab, Intermediate Care, and Behavioral Health.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to other units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
- Participate in orientation and training of new staff members.
- Attend unit meetings and in-services to stay up-to-date on hospital policies and procedures.
- Current State of Indiana Registered Nurse License or compact license required.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse. Associates Degree required.
- Basic knowledge of JCAHO, CMS, and ISBH standards, rules, and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of performance improvements concepts and unit activities.
- BLS certification required. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training completion within 30 days of hire and maintenance of certification. ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
