About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a PRN varied with call basis. As a key member of our Radiology/Imaging Department, you will perform diagnostic procedures with skill and independence in multiple modalities and specialties.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, such as The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
  • Comply with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relate effectively to clinical personnel, medical staff, and the public.
  • Operate computers and basic management applications with proficiency.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Diploma/Certification from a certified school of primary imaging modality required.
  • One or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultra Sound Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
  • Six months of experience in two or more modalities (i.e. CT, MR, IR, NM, US, or Cath Lab) required, acute care experience preferred.
  • Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure if required by state.
  • Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required or must be obtained within 12 months of start date and maintained current thereafter.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
