About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead our operations in the United States. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sound short and long-term supply chain strategies that meet customer, sales, marketing, quality, and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop, implement, and direct logistical and distribution procedures, policies, and practices to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and inventory management.
  • Formulate and deploy procedures governing material planning, inventory/demand management, master production scheduling/forecasting, and supplier development to support global operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement the Sales and Operational Planning process for all USA businesses, adopting and embedding industry and Group best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GMPs, quality initiatives, and safe working conditions.
  • Develop financial supply chain budgets and conduct ongoing analysis to ensure brand business performance is maximized.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Right First Time behaviors throughout the supply chain.
  • Lead SAP sub-domain implementations for USA, developing, implementing, and continuously improving organizational and supply chain strategies nationally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management or business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding leadership, coaching, and organizational development skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma, MRP II, ERP, APICS, and American Society for Quality (or similar) certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated use of Continuous Improvement, TQM, and/or Lean tools, including six sigma, value stream mapping, root cause/corrective action, Kaizen events, and Kanban.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain and warehouse management systems, replenishment methodology, and industrial engineering methods/techniques.
  • Strong experience in project management and capital expense management.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet, database, and presentation software, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience in implementing and working with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven team player, able to work collaboratively at all levels and build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
