Overview

Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the region, seeks an experienced and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Orthopedic and Spine Unit.

About the Role

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide high-quality patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes.

Estimated Salary Range:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, ensure timely discharges, and facilitate smooth transitions between services.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
