Job Overview:

The Unix L1/L2 Engineer is tasked with the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of Unix environments. This role encompasses the administration of user profiles, storage systems, and network functionalities. The L3 Engineer is also responsible for diagnosing and rectifying intricate system challenges.

Red Hat Certification is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Unix environments
  • Administer user profiles, storage systems, and network functionalities
  • Diagnose and rectify intricate system challenges
  • Offer technical assistance to users
  • Keep abreast of the latest Unix technologies and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Unix system engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix operating systems, including Linux and Solaris
  • Proficiency with Unix system administration tools and utilities, such as vi, sed, awk, and grep
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
  • Experience in diagnosing and resolving intricate system challenges
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
