Regulatory Strategy Lead

Takeda Pharmaceutical is a global leader in transforming patient care through novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best-in-class patient support programs. We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Strategy Lead to join our team.
This is a senior leadership position that requires expertise in developing and implementing global regulatory strategies to maximize regulatory success. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Global Regulatory Strategies: Define, develop, and lead global strategies to achieve timely and efficient development and maintenance of programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide Strategic Advice: Offer strategic and tactical advice to teams to achieve program objectives for complex and/or multiple projects.
- Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring effective implementation of regulatory strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree (Scientific Discipline Preferred): A bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or related field is required.
- Advanced Degree (Preferred): An advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PharmD/PhD/MD) is strongly preferred.
- 10+ Years of Experience: At least 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including 8 years of regulatory experience or combination of 6+ years regulatory and/or related experience.
- Expertise in Regulatory Requirements: In-depth knowledge of drug development process and regulatory requirements, including FDA, EU, Canada, ROW, and post-marketing regulations.
Takeda Pharmaceutical offers a competitive salary range of $235,000 - $365,000 per year, based on location and experience. In addition to a base salary, U.S.-based employees may be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
