Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Butterball, LLC, a leading food processing company, is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the Central Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including AWG, UNFI, HyVee, Fairway, Save A Lot, and Schnucks.
  • Manage and motivate broker resources to achieve shared sales goals.
  • Develop and present sales presentations to customers, using data and insights to drive sales growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure new product distributions in accounts.
  • Design and implement account-specific trade programs and pricing strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Manage customer deductions and collaborate with the sales finance team to maintain deduction balances.
  • Communicate with the customer service team regarding orders and potential shortages or transportation issues.
  • Submit weekly sales reports and maintain trade accrual budgets and rates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with a background in managing broker relationships.
  • Prior work experience in industries such as Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, or Retail is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, TELUS Trade Tool, and SAP or other ERP systems.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in an office environment with telephones, personal computers, and printers.
  • The noise level of the environment is usually moderate.
  • Sedentary position, with occasional lifting of less than 25 pounds.
  • Ability to collaborate virtually with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight travel.
