Job Description

Job Summary:

Drive Staff is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Local City Driver, you will be responsible for operating a manual transmission vehicle and navigating through local roads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a manual transmission vehicle for local deliveries and pickups.
  • Navigate through local roads and highways to ensure timely and safe transportation of goods.
  • Meet the requirements for local driving experience, including one year of verifiable local driving in the past three years or a combination of OTR/Regional/Local driving experience in the past three years.
  • Complete an accredited school or carrier-approved training program.
  • Live within 50 miles of Fort Wayne, IN.
  • Be willing to work any shift, including weekends.
  • Work a guaranteed 8 hours per day, with overtime after 50 hours.

Requirements:

  • One year of verifiable local driving experience in the past three years.
  • One year of verifiable driving experience (combination of OTR/Regional/Local) in the past three years.
  • Three months of experience (combination of OTR/Regional/Local) in the past year and completion of an accredited school or carrier-approved training program.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $28 per hour.
  • Overtime pay after 50 hours.
  • Guaranteed 8 hours per day.
