We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Brattleboro, VT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients and colleagues to provide high-quality care in our Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LPN to lead and support our adolescent unit, providing complex nursing care and clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers (MHWs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, specifically working with adolescents, and be able to float to other units as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, utilizing the nursing process to meet complex needs
  • Lead and supervise MHWs to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs, developing interventions to promote healing and recovery
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an LPN, with recent experience within the last 3 months
  • Psych/behavioral health experience and age groups listed on your resume
  • A willingness to float to other units and take charge LPN shifts
Additional Requirements

Please note that you will be required to:

  • Hold current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Be willing and eligible to obtain Vermont state licensure
