As a software engineer at Google, you will be part of a team that develops cutting-edge technologies that transform the way billions of users interact with information and each other. Our products require handling vast amounts of data, and we're looking for engineers who can bring innovative ideas from various areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in C++ and data structures/algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
