Job Overview:
The role involves the thorough investigation, assessment, negotiation, and resolution of claims that vary in complexity. This is achieved through diligent research and effective communication with insured individuals and claimants, adhering to established claims protocols and relevant state regulations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling auto liability claims or at least 1 year in bodily injury claims is preferred.
- Possession of a Multi-line Texas Adjuster's license.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software.
- Capability to draft reports and correspondence independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Investigation: Engage with witnesses, medical professionals, legal representatives, and law enforcement to collect evidence and review medical documentation.
- Damage Assessment: Evaluate the financial implications of medical expenses, lost income, and other related costs.
- Settlement Negotiation: Responsible for negotiating fair settlements with the injured parties or their legal representatives.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular updates with clients regarding their claim status and address any inquiries they may have.
- Claims Documentation and Compliance: Ensure meticulous documentation of all claim-related activities, including investigations, damage assessments, and settlement discussions, while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
