International Bancshares Corp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant I, you will provide exceptional support to our executives by conducting research, preparing reports, and performing various administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database management are also essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executives, including preparing reports, conducting research, and managing schedules.
  • Manage office services, such as records, departmental account reconciliations, and housekeeping, to aid executives.
  • Answer phone calls, direct calls to appropriate parties, and take messages.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives, committees, etc.
  • Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems, and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database management.
