East Liverpool City Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and compassionate team environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting therapeutic groups, and performing psychiatric crisis interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
Participate in daily nursing functions, including seclusion and restraint procedures, as needed.
Requirements:
Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming, and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
