Job Summary
Mercy Hospital Jefferson is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
- Current RN license in our state or ability to obtain within 90 days
- 1-2 years of critical care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days
