Medical Support Specialist

The St Joseph School Of Nursing seeks a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. This role involves working under the direct supervision of an RN, providing patient-centered care that is safe, efficient, timely, and effective.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks assigned by the RN, including routine patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist RNs with providing patient care
- Perform routine patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Conduct vital signs and record data
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a current RI CNA certification and have at least 1 year of experience as a CNA. A high school graduate or equivalent is required. Additionally, candidates must meet annual safety training requirements and maintain visual acuity and hand dexterity.
Working ConditionsThe Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a well-lighted and well-ventilated area, frequently interacting with patients. The role requires physical ability to perform a variety of body movements, including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, stretching, and reaching. Lifting heavy objects weighing 25 pounds or more may be required.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, employees receive ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
