About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the highest level of quality in our imaging services.

Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Operate MRI equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
  • Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality standards are met
  • Assist in the facilitation of departmental operations, including inventory management and staff scheduling
  • Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of each patient population
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration as an MR technologist, or equivalent
  • 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience
  • Advanced certification in MRI required within two years of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical MRI experience
  • Advanced certification in MRI
