Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Community Care Partners is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and performing standard x-ray examinations, utilizing x-ray equipment and proper technique. You will also be responsible for performing blood draws, taking vital signs, inputting medical histories, administering medication injections and vaccines, and assisting providers in medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging and Diagnostic Procedures: Prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and history, and provides treatment as applicable. Perform blood draws and administer medication injections and vaccines.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment. Prepare exam/treatment rooms; select, setup, sterilize, and maintain medical supplies and equipment for procedures.
- Image Analysis and Quality Control: Examine images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion. Send and store images.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely completion of medical procedures. Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.
- Certification/License: Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required. ARRT certification required.
- Experience: Prior Radiologic Technologist experience (preferred), however new graduates are encouraged to apply.
