About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychology Associate Doctorate, Correctional to join our team at the State of Maryland. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing direct psychological services to incarcerated individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments, diagnostic assessments, and other types of psychological assessments as assigned
  • Provide direct psychotherapeutic services to incarcerated individuals, including cognitive-behavioral group psychotherapy, individual therapy, and crisis intervention
  • Engage in research-related activities, supervision and training of unlicensed members of the psychology staff, and administrative supervision of other professional and clerical employees
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A Doctorate degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university in a program acceptable to the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • No prior experience is required
