We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Monument Health. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient-focused care and contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination and treatment areas according to clinic standards
  • Complete patient rooming procedures, including vital signs and data collection
  • Administer and document unit dose medications and immunizations
  • Perform EKGs and laboratory testing as needed
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient records
  • Assist with scheduling follow-up care and appointments
  • Distribute patient education materials and direct patient questions to providers or RNs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent in general studies
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant university or training facility
  • Medical Assistant-Certified (MA) certification or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in South Dakota
  • 1+ years of clinical experience and 1+ years of healthcare experience
