Position Summary
We are currently seeking a qualified MIG Welder in Glendale, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing a universal welder to perform cuts and welds on steel piping, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Accurately measure and plan layouts

• Configure welding equipment according to specifications

• Execute welding tasks using semi-automatic equipment in various positions

• Maintain equipment to uphold safety standards

• Conduct quality tests on all welds

• Manually weld any leaks identified during quality penetration tests

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of welding experience

• Proficient in reading a tape measure

• Pipe welding experience and certifications are advantageous

• Reliability and punctuality are essential

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are critical for success

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Availability to work on Saturdays, with attendance being monitored

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with team members

• Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly

• Willingness to stand, bend, twist, and walk for extended shifts

• Must successfully pass a drug screening
