Network Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Entegee.

Salary: $97,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year

Job Description

As a key member of our infrastructure engineering team, the Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining complex network architectures to support our custom automation projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco networking solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance network architectures to meet business objectives.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing networks to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation related to network configuration, mapping, and service records.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect corporate assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry standards to recommend strategic improvements to our network architecture.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams to ensure seamless integration with network services.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Cisco solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of cabling standards, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with network management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
