Job Opportunity

Kohler Company, a leading consumer brand in plumbing manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join their Kohler Services team. This is a newly created position where you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers and bring their shower and bath space vision to life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving quality installation of KOHLER brand products that exceed industry standards and customer expectations. This role requires a professional demeanor, both on job sites and while representing the KOHLER brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and perform plumbing work related to Kohler Services shower and walk-in bath products, including water heater additions or replacements.
  • Ensure accurate suitability of proposed work area prior to demolition or start of work, identifying visible defects that may prevent achieving KOHLER's expected installation standards.
  • Confirm installation details with customers prior to start, using a confirmation form to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform work in compliance with all applicable codes and conduct testing to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area, including outside customer homes and company vehicles.
  • Provide customers with warranty information, product demonstrations, and final payment collection.
  • Timely report and update CRM as directed by the Supervisor - Installer.
  • Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Work independently, providing technical guidance when required, to efficiently meet business and product installation objectives.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Plumber License in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Five plus years of bathroom remodeling or installation experience, with experience in bathroom installation preferred.
  • Proven communication and relationship building skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs and stand for long periods, with occasional reaching, crawling, and crouching.
  • Ability to operate company vehicle, with a satisfactory MVR required.
  • Approximately 25% overnight travel, varying depending on job site locations.

The hourly range for this position is $42.90. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including their experience, education, and work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
