We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Kohler Co. in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and plumbing work related to Kohler Services shower and walk-in bath products, ensuring accurate suitability of proposed work areas and confirming details with customers prior to start.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and plumb Kohler Services shower and walk-in bath products, including water heater additions or replacements.
  • Ensure accurate suitability of proposed work areas prior to demolition or start of work.
  • Confirm details of proposed installation with customer prior to start using confirmation form.
  • Explain installation process in simple terms to establish trust and confidence with customer.
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with all applicable codes and perform testing to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area, including outside customers home and the work vehicle, during the workday.
  • Provide the consumer with warranty information, show them how to use the product, sign off to the close of the permit, collect final payment, and provide leave behind materials.
  • Report and update in CRM as directed by the Supervisor - Installer.
  • Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Work without supervision and provide technical guidance when required.
  • Manage and apply safe systems of work without supervision and provide technical guidance when required.
  • Employ customer-oriented behaviors to connect with customers in productive and efficient ways, creating positive, defining moments.
  • Employ a systematic process for solving technical issues by identifying the problems and risks involved, then selecting an appropriate solution.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Plumber License in State of Wisconsin.
  • Proven experience as Journeyman Plumber.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Five plus years of bathroom remodeling or installation experience, with experience in bathroom installation preferred.
  • Proven communication and relationship building skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to operate company vehicle preferred. Satisfactory MVR will be required to operate company vehicle.
  • Travel approximately 25% Overnight.
