Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery, including rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers, and mobile cranes.
  • Inspect and assess ground conditions and overhead obstructions to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain equipment through daily inspections and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Log and record operational activities and maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers, and mobile cranes.
  • Class A CDL.
  • Pass post-offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements.
  • Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
  • Maintain a current NCCCO Crane Operators License for qualified equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials, or instructions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records.
Physical Requirements
  • Strong depth perception and quick reaction time.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly.
  • Visual capabilities to follow hand signals, maintain all logs, and operate machinery.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
