Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at El Monte Sagrado Resort & Spa. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort's buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Respond to work orders and requests from guests and staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of positivity and professionalism when interacting with guests, team members, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager/Supervisor to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Ensure that all work activities conform to safety, sanitation, and health regulations and policies.
  • May include maintenance of pools, spas, and hot tubs.
Requirements
  • 1 year of facilities maintenance or construction experience preferred.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • May be exposed to extreme or variant temperatures, high and precarious locations, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have current, unrestricted driver's license and be able to maintain company group insurance.
