Software Engineering Senior Advisor

The Cigna Group is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Senior Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust enterprise solutions using cloud and commercial software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance existing Dental Claims Processing applications
  • Leverage existing open-source frameworks and third-party components to design and develop software solutions
  • Maximize opportunities to integrate and reuse existing capabilities
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and act as a mentor and technical guide to mid- and lower-level analysts
  • Research new technologies and report on them to business and IT stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in any IT role
  • OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and 5 years of experience in any IT role
  • Experience with REST-based microservices, test-driven automation, and cloud-based technologies
  • Experience with IAM roles, cloud watch monitoring, and OpenShift
