Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Career and Technical Education Coordinator. This role will provide program and administrative support for all programs within the unit, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and potential customers, responding to inquiries via various channels.
  • Ensure effective communication between units, facilitating collaboration and coordination.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of programming, including information sessions, career fairs, and open houses.
  • Maintain accurate customer and contact databases, processing purchase orders and check requests as needed.
  • Prepare and disseminate program marketing materials, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Enter student registration and payments into the college registration system, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including room scheduling and maintenance of program files.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Three years' experience in a related professional office environment, with prior experience in higher ed or educational settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, with a commitment to a student-centered environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours to meet department and College needs. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
