About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems
  • Collaborating with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
