Cognitive Care Activities Facilitator

As a Cognitive Care Activities Facilitator, your role will be to design and implement engaging experiences for residents within our Memory Care community. We are looking for compassionate individuals who cherish the company of seniors, possess a holistic approach to care, and have a passion for arts and wellness.
Employment Type:
Full-Time, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (includes alternating weekends and holidays)
Compensation:
Starting pay is $16.00/hour, with potential for increased earnings based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative and enjoyable activities for residents.
- Encourage residents to engage in a vibrant lifestyle that fosters pride and purpose.
- Accompany residents on outings to cultural events, dining experiences, and other special activities.
- Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to plan and execute both on-site and off-site events.
- Guide volunteers to enhance the overall experience for residents.
- Foster a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere to promote resident participation.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience in group activities or recreational programming is preferred but not mandatory.
- Dynamic leadership qualities that are energetic, friendly, and creative.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents and team members.
- Ability to motivate and inspire residents to participate actively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to perform the duties associated with this role.
