Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital. As a key member of our vascular lab team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies, coordinating patient flow, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging studies using ultrasound equipment under the direction of a Clinical Vascular Lab Attending or Fellow.
  • Coordinate and manage scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
  • Supervise and assist with the education and training of new physicians and vascular technologists.
  • Participate in research initiatives and develop new protocols and ultrasound imaging techniques.
  • Act as a team leader and monitor charging of ultrasound procedures and supplies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or Vascular accredited program.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Vascular Ultrasound Certification (RVT or RVS).
