Main Responsibilities

  • Animate discussions (including trainings) with IT operation teams to promote DevOps model within the department.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Unix with experience in scripting and automation. Basic knowledge of Windows scripting and Active Directory.
  • Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role with successful implementation of Deployment Automation & Orchestration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows OS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of the DevOps transformation journey in large enterprises.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
  • Expertise in design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools; Jenkins, TFS, Git, Ansible, Selenium, Docker.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring individuals and teams.
  • Enjoy participating in open-source initiatives.
  • Influence others and lead by example.

Work Schedule

  • May be required to be available for on-call support during non-business hours and/or on weekends. Allowance is claimable for such hours.

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in any of these faculties:
  • Computer Science.
  • Information Technology.
  • Programming & Systems Analysis.
  • Science (Computer Studies).
