Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team, responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The successful candidate will lead applications systems analysis and programming activities, working on strategic and tactical projects for the Wholesale Lending business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
  • Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities, working on strategic and tactical projects for the Wholesale Lending business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and efficient.
  • Work with the Technology team to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our technology solutions.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Education

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.

Location

Position is based in Houston, TX/New Castle, DE. Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area.
