Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Float Nurse in our MedSurg and Critical Care departments. As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical settings, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and complex care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
  • Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, social, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients and families.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, modifying them as needed to meet patient needs.
  • Implement patient care and therapeutic procedures, monitoring and documenting patient progress and teaching goals.
  • Evaluate the care and treatment provided to patients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years of combined experience in MedSurg and either Critical Care or Emergency Department required.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact.
  • BLS required.
