About the Role



We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Systems Architect to join our team at Scout Motors, a company dedicated to shaping the future of transportation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating IT infrastructure for vehicle commissioning in our factory, ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle's E/E-Architecture, and coordinating IT infrastructure topics cross-functionally.



Responsibilities




  • Develop and integrate IT infrastructure for vehicle commissioning in the factory
  • Integrate vehicle E/E-Architecture requirements with End-Of-Line electrical test systems, including data logistics for pre-series and series production
  • Perform scheduled configuration changes and software updates to vehicle commissioning systems
  • Coordinate IT infrastructure topics cross-functionally
  • Define the scope and assess the feasibility of proposed vehicle commissioning solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and goals
  • Collect customer requirements, break down tasks for the development team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define optimal solutions
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement equipment and systems, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality results
  • Identify potential risks in production processes and develop countermeasures to prevent vehicle loss
  • Develop software programs or scripts for electronic vehicle commissioning and check procedures
  • Assess the usability of check programs under series production conditions


Requirements




  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in automotive manufacturing engineering, production planning, or project management
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle engineering processes and manufacturing processes
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in automotive technology, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, or an equivalent field
  • Proficiency in advanced programming languages, such as C++, C#, or Java
  • Strong skills in organizational navigation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to develop effective partnerships and relationships
  • Proficient in analytical and conceptual thinking, employing logic and reason in creative and strategic contexts
  • Demonstrated ability in creative and strategic problem-solving, with experience troubleshooting vehicle systems
