Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of properties, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with various systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on properties and within units to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, door hardware, windows, window screens, and other general building items.
  • Perform carpentry and painting tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and action items to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Interact professionally with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and clients, responding to their maintenance requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for tenants and clients.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed to ensure maintenance operations are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • 2 years of experience in maintenance, painting, plumbing, and appliance repair, with a strong background in troubleshooting and repair.
  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Valid Driver's License and Work Authorization to ensure safe and efficient transportation to and from job sites.
  • At least 1 year of HVAC experience (preferred) to ensure expertise in HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Experience in the apartment industry (preferred) to ensure familiarity with apartment maintenance operations and procedures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent to ensure a strong foundation in math, science, and technical skills.
