Job Title: Casino Host

We are seeking a skilled Casino Host to join our team at Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago. As a Casino Host, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating methods to attract mid to high-limit players and host such guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish relationships with midrange gaming customers to encourage return visits, create customer loyalty, and increase theoretical/earning potential value.
  • Deliver exceptional internal and external guest service, always exhibiting a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Be responsible for maintaining close ties with targeted guests through personal contact on property.
  • Arrange accommodations and amenities, handle and resolve player problems, and maintain goodwill with all guests.
  • Ensure guests are aware of events and supports execution through attendance and follow-up.
  • Provide complimentaries according to established guidelines and sound business practices.
  • Comply with state and local regulatory requirements.
  • Build relationships with target players through tracking systems and leverage property amenities/programs to targeted players.
  • Collaborate with work-group and all support departments to ensure player satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred or equivalent in addition to one to three years progressive casino, marketing or sales related experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to think independently in making decisions to maximize customer service experience and program profitability.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
