At Horizon Hobby, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, to ensure that our products are delivered to customers on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, lead times, and shipping costs, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving issues.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems, including tracking inventory levels, managing stock levels, and optimizing inventory turns.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, including transportation management, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with supply chain management software, including ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
